My PAINTING AS AN EVENT is an interactive PROCESS PAINTING with other artists, in which process and painting does become an artwork (almost videos and photoreports are included). Add to this, art journalist Heinz Ohff: "... we can see that Barbara Heinisch has managed to reunite two strongly opposed tendencies: the performance and the good, old panel painting - a missing link between the offshoots of anti-art in the tradition of Duchamp, Beuys and Vostell and traditional painting..."
